I attended the mircrolocs class, and it was a great learning experience. The space was professional and positive, and the loctician was very knowledgeable, answering several questions about microlocs and hair health.

She took the time to carefully explain everything in detail and with simple concepts, which made it easier to understand and replicate.

For the practical session, we were given a kit with tools and mannequin heads to practice on. There were clear demonstrations with hands-on guidance and practical steps.

At the end of the session, we got a certificate and a package summarizing what we learned. Once you pass the class you can be officially referred by Locsurious which is great if you have your own salon or business.

I highly recommend the class if you’re interested in learning this skill for business or personal use.

I had the greatest time in the Microlocks Fundamental course! It was very hands on and adaptable in terms of the course’s pace. It was the best of both world’s with both an online and in-person portion to the course, and it was a great experience interacting with the team at the salon!

The experience at Locsurious was great. The place was clean and peaceful. No unnecessary chatter or noise. One of my favorite movies was playing so in between sleeping on myself😁 I enjoyed snippets of the movie. Faith was very gentle, I did not flinch once and that’s the truth. Normally when I braid my hair I dread the constant pulling and digging into my scalp. I did not experience any of that. She was available to start at the scheduled time and her estimated completion time was on point. I had a personal request which she was able to incorporate into her delivery and I appreciated that. This was a very packed and informative class with both theory and practical but it never felt overwhelming or underwhelming. It was just the right pace, just the right amount of info, interactive and still relaxed. We were able to learn without being frustrated and Faith gave great encouragement as we went along. It was so much fun too because the environment was light and fun filled but still enough of a push to do your best. And then we got beautiful certificates to encourage us to move forward. Worth every penny.

The experience at Locsurious was exceptional. I have been on my natural hair journey for five years now and is very particular with the hairstylist I allow to manipulate my hair. At Locsurious I found that I was very comfortable and relaxed. There was no need for anxiety with regards to the harsh manipulation of my hair. She was very gentle and the end result was AMAZING . I wore my two strand twist do for an entire month.

If you are on your natural hair journey like I am and is looking for a stylist who is qualified , gentle and patient, Locsurious is definitely the place to visit. I’ve been getting my hair done here a lil over a year and my favorite part is the wash and steam included in your service. I don’t care if my hair is clean I NEEEEED that wash its so relaxing 🙈. If you’ve ever been to the shop and seen a customer covered head to toe in a blanket at the sink whilst getting a steam its most likely me.

I found it to be very insightful. I do appreciate the knowledge imparted. This made me comfortable and confident, allowing me trust Locsurious with my locks journey.

I had a great experience at Locsurious – I got medium twist on my natural hair- The stylist was thorough with prepping of the hair by washing conditioning and steaming. She was very gentle with my hair and easy to talk to. Apart from that the style lasted in a good condition for much longer than anticipated.

I recently traveled from the U.S. to Trinidad for business and to visit family, and I took the opportunity to schedule a microloc installation at Locscurious. From start to finish, my experience was nothing short of exceptional, and I am thrilled with the results!

Before my arrival, I was able to schedule a virtual consultation with the owner, Faith, which lasted a generous two hours. She was incredibly thorough and informative, covering everything from the essence of having locs, to the maintenance, installation process, and the pros and cons of locs. I had numerous questions, and Faith answered each one in detail, making me feel completely at ease and eager to move forward with the process.

Booking my appointment was seamless through their online system, and I immediately received an email confirmation as well as several follow-up emails leading up to my appointment. This attention to detail gave me peace of mind and reassured me that I was in good hands.

Upon arriving at the salon, I was greeted warmly, and the ambiance was absolutely wonderful. The salon was even more beautiful in person than I had imagined from the photos online. Faith’s professionalism and kindness were evident throughout the entire experience. She was precise, communicative, and very skilled during the installation of my microlocs.

One of the things that really impressed me was that I was given over **100+ photos** documenting the process—from before and during to after the installation. Additionally, several videos were provided, which made me feel like I had a complete record of the entire transformation.

I’d like to give a special kudos to the staff, including Faith’s secretary, who remained in constant communication with me from the moment I scheduled my consultation to sending follow-up instructions after my appointment. Their professionalism and thoughtfulness made the entire process smooth and stress-free.

Growing up, I’ve always been surrounded by the idea and culture of relaxed hair – it was something “grown” girls and women with natural hair would graduate to when they’re mature enough. I never really liked that idea of relaxed hair growing up, but I knew that as I was getting older, I would have to make a decision on what I was going to do with my hair (because I can’t have my mom combing it in cornrows my entire life).
When I started university, I explored artificial hair, which somewhat alleviated my natural hair maintenance issue, however, I was never 100% pleased with how my hair looked at any point of time.
At the beginning of 2021, I was introduced to Microlocs and I almost instantly fell in love with the idea of them. To me, they were the ultimate solution to my problem. I was sold with the images I saw of people in their 1-2 year loc journeys and wanted to start mine immediately.

TLDR; Being introduced to microlocs literally allowed me to discover hair freedom. I am now able to freely grow my natural hair healthily and I’m no longer afraid to get my hair wet! I’m truly loving the growth process and I can’t wait to see my growth within the next year.
(I wish I started Microlocs earlier!)

She is very patient, kind and accommodating. Gentle with your hair/head to the point where you almost feel nothing. I got microlocs and my hair looks beautiful, the parts are crispy like bacon. I’m only on day 3 of my journey and I’m enjoying it already!

I was personally contemplating getting locs installed for a really long time, but I never wanted extensions. When I discovered Locsurious and their Traditional Instant Loc Installation I immediately knew that I would be trusting them with my hair 😆 I must state, Faith is such a pleasant soul. From the Consultation to now Regular Maintenance she’s been absolutely welcoming. There is no judgement or negative reactions. I enjoy all sessions with her and am always recommending when I hear somebody talk about getting Locs installed. She also encourages self maintenance so that you can learn your hair and the dos and donts of having locs. I started at 6 inches length, struggle with sebhorric dermatitis, and my locs are flourishing (We’re at Swinging Length 🤣). Oh and I definitely prefer interlocking because my hair stays neater longer

My establishment was such a beautiful and fun experience. Although I don’t think any of us planned on being there so late, but I honestly could’ve spent another 10 hours with them. And trust when I tell you the shenanigans seen online are realistically depicted. The loctition is very professional, timely and I always have good communication on the status of my appointments. I had my microlocs installed here via two strand twists but you can also have interlocking or braidlocs to begin. The salon is clean and well kept.
